Escape From Long Island

According to HousingTracker.net, the steep decline in asking prices over the 5 1/2 years of April 2006 to January 2012 is described in the chart below. Homes at the Median price declined 31% and those at the bottom 25th percentile declined an incredible 43%, all this while property taxes continued to skyrocket.
